kdeconnect-kde software package provides transitional package for kdeconnect-kde, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdeconnect-kde
kdeconnect-kde is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdeconnect-kde package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdeconnect-kde *
You will get with kdeconnect-kde package name, version, architecture and description in a table
